カテゴリー:SEISA NEWS(EN)

The theme of the SEISA National Student Council this year is "Power of Communication". It is important to take action. However, it is even more important to communicate our actions internally and externally so that society can become aware of them. In the past few years, we have been working on the SDGs, and we need to communicate our activities to the community and society.

On Friday, February 26, 2021, 175 members of the Student National Council from all over Japan connected via Zoom to present the results of their learning throughout the year.

In past years, the Student Council District Training was held in each district of the country, and the National Student Council Training was held at the end of the summer vacation for student council members from all over the country to learn together. However, because of the COVID-19 disaster all is cancelled.

Even though there was no time for face-to-face meetings and heated discussions, as the National Student Council President said, "Small efforts by each school building will eventually become big efforts and great power.” We have been thinking about how to connect and learn from each other with our friends scattered all over the country, even in difficult situations.

SEISA is a group of people working together to create a sustainable society, as exemplified by the SDGs, which have been implemented by SEISA for 50 years. The SEISA National Student Council has been learning and practicing the SDGs for the past five (5) years, leading the world.

"Fostering a strong heart that can face difficult situations with a smile and courage, thinking of others.” With these words in mind, the SEISA National Student Council will continue to provide young energy to lead all of Japan and the world. Please continue to look forward to the activities of the SEISA National Student Council!
