カテゴリー:SEISA NEWS(EN)

Mr. Gan, a former director of the Hiratsuka City Museum, has joined SEISA University as a visiting researcher and curator in spring 2020. He has been teaching children about the night sky and the universe for 50 years, and his work as a "star specialist" has attracted much attention from both inside and outside Japan.

The SEISA Astronomy Club will start in April 2021 with Dr. Gan as its leader. In the last year, we have held a series of "Gan-sensei's Sky Classes", in person or online, on different themes at different times of the year.

The SEISA Astronomy Club is open to members on a first-come, first-served basis, and will offer a wide range of projects and events to those who join. The Club will be open to SEISA students, graduates, their parents and teachers, and will later be open to the general public. In the end, we hope to create a school club that will transcend generations and locations.

Connect with friends from all over the country and the world and enjoy the experience of looking at the same sky! Applicants from both parents and children are also welcome. We look forward to receiving many applications from you.
