カテゴリー:SEISA NEWS(EN)

Mr. Takeru KITAZONO (Tokushukai Gymnastics Club), a student studying at SEISA University from this spring, was selected as a representative of the Men's Gymnastics Team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at the All Japan Gymnastics Championships and Tokyo 2020 Final held at Takasaki Arena in Gunma Prefecture on June 6, 2021.

On the day of the event, many SEISA students watched the tense competition both on site and on TV, and some said they were moved to tears by KITAZONO's all-out performance.

It has been almost two months since her injury in April. In an interview after the competition, she strongly vowed, "I will do my best to win the gold medal in the team competition! I will do my best to win the gold medal in the team competition! We hope that many of you will support him.

In addition, we received a great deal of inspiration from the athletes of the Tokushukai Gymnastics Club, with whom we cooperate in education. Other highlights included Shuri KASHIWAGI a graduate of SEISA Kokusai Shonan and a first-year student at Tsukuba University, and Sara YAMAGUCHI a first-year student at SEISA Junior High School, who placed 7th in the floor event.

SEISA colleagues and friends will continue to support his success and great performance at the games and future career.
