The SEISA Kokusai Tokyo Soccer Club, in its 4th year of foundation, made its first appearance at the National High School Part-time Correspondence Course Athletics Tournament in 2021. The team won the Tokyo Tournament, and went on to represent Tokyo in the first round of the tournament.

On Sunday, August 1st, 2021, the SEISA Kokusai Tokyo team played their first match at the Shimizu National Training Center against Miyagi Prefecture's Sadayama High School, winning 7-2 to advance to the third round. The third round match was against Matsudo Minami High School in Chiba Prefecture. In the penalty shoot-out, they lost 1-3 and missed out on a place in the semi-finals. The team's first appearance on the national stage was a record 8th place finish.

The SEISA Kokusai Tokyo (Tachikawa/Hachioji) Soccer Club was started by a junior high school student who wished to "make friends again through football. He and his classmates, who would later enroll at SEISA Kokusai Tachikawa, worked hard to build the team together with members of the previous futsal club, and were eager to recruit new students.

Last year, in their third year and with the strongest squad, the team won the Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament in the autumn, beating Setagaya Izumi High School, a regular national champion, despite the many restrictions imposed by the Corona disaster. The team continued to make rapid progress in the Kanto Tournament and became the first Kanto champions in their first appearance.

SEISA Kokusai Tachikawa Soccer Team wins first tournament in Kanto region in 3 years!

The SEISA Kokusai Tachikawa Soccer Club has been in existence for 3 years, and has won its first championship in the Kanto region. There have been times when it has been difficult to do things that we could not do before, and times when we could not do things that we could do before, but each of us has grown and there has been a lot of drama. It was a great pleasure to see so many changes and learning through football.

There are many dramas not only in the Inter-High School but also in the regular and correspondence school competitions. Some students were able to take part in sports or art for the first time. For example, a student who had moved to a different school and was unable to take part in a sport or art activity, but was able to enjoy it again.

SEISA teachers will continue to work with students to create a better environment for them to learn.

The SEISA Kokusai Tachikawa Soccer Club won its first tournament in the Kanto Region on Sunday, November 29th, 2020, at Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya Park Soccer Ground.

The team did not lose concentration and attacked and defended to the end against the representative schools from each prefecture.

It was a great achievement for the third year students, who had worked hard to reach the top of the table in football, their forte, three years ago.

For some, it was the first time they had been able to try out a sport they had been interested in but had been unable to take the first step. For example, students were able to take part in a sport they had been interested in but had been away from for a while due to a change of school, and were able to enjoy it again.

SEISA supports a wide variety of sports activities as a way to face oneself, to get involved with friends, and to make friends. Thank you very much for your support.
