Nadeshiko Japan, Japan's national women's soccer team, played in the AFC Women's Asian Cup India 2022 from January 22nd to February 6th, and won 7-0 in the quarter-final match against Thailand on January 30th to qualify for the Women's World Cup for the ninth consecutive time.

Hinata Miyazawa, a graduate of the SEISA Kokusai Shonan Women's Soccer Team, scored the second goal of the game for her country and helped the team to qualify for the Women's World Cup for the ninth consecutive time under the pressure of carrying the Japanese flag.

Miyazawa was captain of the Shonan Women's Soccer Team at SEISA Kokusai High School when she was a high school student, and was also selected for the Japan National Team, making her a key player for Nadeshiko Japan. After graduating from SEISA, she joined Tokyo Verdy Beleza and helped Japan win the U-20 World Cup in 2018, making her debut for the national team.

With the spirit of "SEISA is a group made up of everyone", Miyazawa has been playing SEISA-style soccer for three years. Her attitude has not wavered since her graduation and she continues to express it with her results.

This attitude has encouraged the younger members of the women's soccer team as well as students and staff across the country.

We wish her all the best for the future!
