1st Year Archer OKUMURA of the SEISA Kokusai Shonan Archery Club makes the U-20 National Team! Finally, We will Challenge the world!

SEISA Kokusai Shonan Archery Club first-year player Reiya OKUMURA participated in the "2021 U-20/U-17 National Team Selection Round" held in Kakegawa, Shizuoka, Japan from November 13th to 15th, 2020, and was selected for the U-20 National Team.

This was Okumura's third challenge. The pressure of "you can't make a mistake" was heavy on the players, and they were even more nervous than usual, but the game went on until the very end, with no one knowing who would be chosen. In spite of this, Okumura didn't let up until the end, and ended the tournament with a U20 selection, far surpassing his goal of being selected as a U17.

In U20, the World Youth Games will be held in 2021. The goal of the national team is to win a gold medal there. Finally, we can see our goal of "the world". The U20 category is mainly for university students. We will take on the challenge of the world with our anxiety and excitement to see what kind of opponents are waiting for us.
