Hikari YOSHIZAWA, 2nd year student of SEISA Kokusai Yokohama, took 2nd place at the 2021 JAPAN SLOPESTYLE OPEN (Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort, Hokkaido), her first competition in Japan, held on January 30, 2021.

She also placed 3rd in the snowboarding competition at the 25th Hokkaido Ski Championships held at the same venue on Sunday, January 31, which was an impressive podium finish. Ms. Yoshizawa's comments were filled with regret, but she was determined to go even further in order to qualify for the Olympics.

There are many classmates who support her as an athlete while studying the same way they do. Sports are a way of "doing, seeing and supporting". SEISA is committed to providing opportunities for students to interact with each other through sports.

Please continue to support our SEISA athletes. Good luck, Ms. Yoshizawa! We will be cheering you on from all over Japan!
