On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, with the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games just around the corner, the Kingdom of Bhutan's archery representative, Karma, and Coach Sally arrived at the SEISA Hakone Campus for a pre-camp. The first step is to support the athletes until they entered the village, taking care of their safety and security.

On the day of their arrival, they were welcomed by SEISA junior high school and high school students, as well as faculty and staff, who are closer to Bhutan than any other school in Japan. The warmth of the visit seemed to relieve some of the fatigue of the long trip.

SEISA has been making efforts to support “young people around the world” who are involved in sports for “the sake of children living in the same era”.

In 2014, SEISA signed an agreement with the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to collaborate and cooperate with them. In 2015, we signed an agreement with the Eritrean National Olympic Committee (ENOC), in 2017 with the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC), and in 2018 with the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Olympic Committee (MOC) for pre-camps in Kanagawa Prefecture. We have implemented a variety of support programs for each country, such as strengthening athletes and accepting sports students.

Through the he Three Guiding Principles of SEISA, we will continue to convey the concept of "Kyousei" (Living Together in Harmony) to the world, while supporting all athletes who represent their countries in difficult situations.
