SEISA Students and Graduates to Participate in Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

● Takeru KITAZONO (Gymnast, Japan), 1st year student, SEISA University (Tokushukai Gymnastics Club)

Takeru KITAZONO won the 2018 All Japan Junior Championships in the individual all-around, and is attracting attention from all over the world as a promising gymnast in Japan. As a senior student of Shinnosuke OKA and the women's gymnastics team at SEISA Kokusai High School, KITAZONO is an athlete who will take on the challenge of the world on behalf of Japan. We look forward to seeing these young challengers in action. We ask for your support. We will continue to support them.

● Yuka UENO, Fencer, Japan, from SEISA Kokusai High School Kawaguchi, 2nd year student at Chuo University

When she was a student at SEISA Yuka Ueno won the World Cadet Championships and the Junior Championships in two different weight classes for the first time in history. She was one of the first athletes ever to win two weight classes at the World Cadet Championships and Junior Championships. We will continue to support her as she competes not only in the Olympics, but on the world stage as well. Ms. Ueno's determination to compete on the world stage, despite the difficult circumstances she is facing, is a source of encouragement to all SEISA students, graduates and staff. We will continue to support her as she competes not only in the Olympics but also on the world stage.
